Election Day of '08 will always be special to me as I began voice lessons w/Jami. I've learned so much from her: proper breathing, avoiding dipthongs (which I never knew I had), and so much more. She also lets me pick the music I want to sing, and my hour long lessons are just pure pleasure. After my lesson is finished, I'm still singing walking up Lawrence Rd.

I have been lucky enough to have Jami as my voice teacher since June of 2008. I have learned so much. During the Summer of 2009, I was in the Media Theatre Delco Idol Jr. I made it to the final night. I would not have been able to do that without Jami. She worked extra hard with me giving me extra lessons just so I would make sure I was ready for each night of competition. Your are the Best!!!!

I was one of Jami's first students. We met singing with the Philly Pops in 2004. At the end of the 2005 Pops season I explained how I was pleased with the vocal progress I made each season but that I really had nothing to help me maintain that progress after the Pops performances were over. Jami offered to take me on as her student and we started lessons a few weeks later. Jami has challenged me vocally, in performance, theory and also in my own personal growth. As a teacher she believes in her students puts so much of herself out there for them that it instills the confidence needed for a student to grow. Jami helped me create a diverse repertoire including Classical, Broadway, Jazz, Pop, Rock & Roll and so much more. She taught me how to take all of the emotion and passion I feel when singing a song and translate that to a performance that moves people. All the while making it something beautiful that will keep them coming back for more. I can truly say I was honored the first time Jami suggested that we work on a duet that I could perform with her. I cherish the time I have spent as Jami's student and can't wait for my children to experience the excitement of learning from her as well!

I started taking voice lessons with Jami in the spring of 2008. I had absolutely no prior musical experience and just thought singing could be fun. Jami taught me so much; not only about singing, but the music world in general. In the past 4 years, I competed in Delco Idol, sang with the Philly POPs holiday chorus, and picked up both piano and guitar. If it wasn't for Jami, I wouldn't be where I am today, and I definitely wouldn't have the confidence that I now have to pursue my dreams!

I played the piano a little growing up, but never had any formal vocal training until I met Jami. I wasn't comfortable singing in front of anyone, but I thought it would be fun to learn. Jami, helped me "find my voice" which turned out to be tenor, not bass like I had thought my whole life! Wow. I took lessons from Jami for several years before we moved away in 2010, and in that time I learned that my voice is an instrument, just like the piano, that takes practice and coaching to condition. I love to perform now, I self accompany on the piano and guitar and write my own music. I have Jami to thank for getting me started and through all the hard parts. She's an incredible person, and an amazing instructor. If you want to improve musically, give Jami and Steve a shot, you'll be glad you did!

I've been taking voice lessons with Jami since December of 2009. I have sang my whole life but never received any formal training until I started with Jami. She has helped me strengthen my voice, increase my range and build confidence. Now I perform out at local coffee houses, open mics and practice with a band. Jami has been an incredible mentor and because of her I have pushed myself so much more to try out for things and perform places I never thought I would. I highly recommend her as a voice teacher :)
